Governing Dynamics – John Nash

Rated an 8.1 on IMBD ‘A Beautiful Mind’ is one of my favourite films.

The film is an autobiography of the mathematician John Nash who studied at Princeton University and struggled with schizophrenia whilst trying to create his ‘original idea'; a piece of work that he wants to publish as that’s the only way ‘he will matter’.

The genius he comes up with is Governing Dynamics, or known to some as Game Theory, which is now used as a principle from auctioning 4g networks to military theory.

This clip is the revelation to his ‘original idea’ and is widely used in Economics classes to explain game theory.

Enjoy.

–Apparently you can still see him on the Princeton campus, rambling away.
